BOTTLED UP

Meet Jeanie. She hoards plastic bottles.
No one’s perfect!
Excuse the mess.
She’s not got round to clearing up yet.
Her newborn baby, Sophie, is quiet for the first time since they got back from the maternity ward.
Peace at last!
Fancy a cuppa?

A solo-show written and performed by Colleen Cameron and directed by Sarah Miele in the year that the EU adopts the Plastic Strategy with the aim to increase the circular economy of single-use plastic.

Bottled Up is a dynamic, engaging and riveting piece of contemporary theatre; no one leaves feeling indifferent towards what and how the play explores our dependency on plastic. It’s a performance that will stay with you; that will challenge you to rethink your habits. Written in Brussels and developed in Scotland with a team of recent Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduates, Bottled Up showcases a mix of Belgian and Scottish theatre. After a two-week run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, lighting design by Kieran Kenning (Scottish Ballet Tour 2018) and sound design by Calum Paterson (Sound Designer on Award Winning Stand By, Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017), Bottled Up is not to be missed this CAMDEN FRINGE at The Cockpit Theatre!
