Monika discovered Yoga in 2007, as a way to keep fit and increase her flexibility. Very quickly though, she started observing incredible changes that the practice had on her mind and effectively impacting on her whole life in a positive way. Ever since, Yoga has become a major part of her life and in 2013, on her 3rd trip to India, she embarked on an intensive 900 hours teachers training programme in the oldest organised Yoga centre in the world - The Yoga Institute of Santacruz, Mumbai. In her teaching she uses traditional techniques and philosophy passed on to her by her Indian gurus, and combines it with modern approaches. Monika is also no stranger to the Marylebone area. Her day job includes delivering community engagement projects with a local regeneration charity. If you are local to Church Street, you probably have seen her around!
